Ian and Erica Mystery (The Mystery of Shadow Ranch)

Hi people, how's it going? Note: this is not the sequel to the last post, I doubt there ever will.
This post is about a book I'm writing. It's my first mystery, and I'll have a page of it's first chapter to see how you liked it. Now show you're own opinion, I won't mind.

Erica Hughes the caramel coloured fox
Shane King the red echidna
Valentine the black cat
Texas Lock (human)
Dr. Simon Yip (human)
Steve Hughes the fox (though he doesn't appear in the book)_Erica's dad

There are others, but I don't--I'm not sure about them.
