L'hiver est ici, mon esprit est-vous tous brouillé, et avez-vous entendu parler de Gilbert Morris?

(Translation for title: Winter is Here, My Mind is All Jumbled, And Have you Heard of Gilbert Morris? Title was written in French)

OK, my mind is running around in all directions all at the same time. Part of my mind is thinking about the poor kids stuck in the Childrens Hospitals over Christmas; another part of me is thinking about that...um, book that was mention in the post "Hey y'all!"; and well...I'm trying to use every ounce of my strength to fight this flu/cold I've got. It's so annoying. But I am almost better!
I am almost done all of the Reno Western Saga books, and I am going to be very sad when their aren't going to be any more!! Now, I have comepleted the first Helen Keene Western Adventure book, and have dubbed this fine, carefully done, book: Survivor. Instead of sending it to Red Deer Press, in Markham, Ontario, I sent it closer to home at Orca Book Publishers in Victoria, BC. But you have to wait, like, quarter of a year before you get a responce. I'm finding myself wishing they won't publish my book, for I have found them to be a big mistake. Now anyhow, I'm working on the second book, which I have already dubbed: Crash and Burn even though I haven't finished it yet! The title simply tells you that Helen, the hero, will make either the villains, or herself, crash and burn.

Ian and Erica Mystery (The Mystery of Shadow Ranch)

Hi people, how's it going? Note: this is not the sequel to the last post, I doubt there ever will.
This post is about a book I'm writing. It's my first mystery, and I'll have a page of it's first chapter to see how you liked it. Now show you're own opinion, I won't mind.

Here's a list of the characters:

Ian Lindvall the white cat
Erica Hughes the caramel coloured fox
Shane King the red echidna
Valentine the black cat
Texas Lock (human)
Dr. Simon Yip (human)
Steve Hughes the fox (though he doesn't appear in the book)_Erica's dad

There are others, but I don't--I'm not sure about them.

¡Hola otra vez!

Hi guys! Remember to suggest this blog to other people because the news is getting hot, hot, hot!
Authors Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall follow the news, and make it part of their The End Times series. On my birthday, Oct 25, the blogged about how Obama (the traitor) send all this military equipment to Saudi Arabia. You know you can't trust those people! They have always had murderous thoughts about North America and Israel and other places around them. They're muslem and all they think about is making everyone else muslem! This will be continued, I am being interrupted by my short fused mother who thinks inturrupted me while doing this important blog! Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why Oh Why?

Yesterday, on the way to Warburg, Alberta, I overheard my mom, dad, and their friend, Mrs Luymes, talking about how people phone conspiracy theorists about the wierdest things. Some phone one conspiracy theorist about "When will the world one-curriency come into affect?" Then they said something about Global-Warming warming. Global-Warming is becoming a religon in itself! Gross! What is the world coming to?
The dude who called about one-world curriency said it could be coming out in 15 weeks! The world is coming to an end! But not as quickly as some people think. God will choose when this cataclysm should happen. Like my mom says, it could start in 1 year or in 50 depending on His good timing.

Haven't Talked For A While, I Know.

Hey, I just wanted to tell you that tomorrow I'll be turning 15, and that I sent in the first book of Helen Keene, Western Adventure to Orca Book Publishers in Victoria, BC. Now I'm just waiting for its reply (which could be a long long time from now). Pray for its aproveall! I need prayer! If Ocra Book Publishers is the place for my books, I might just have found my publisher!

Hey-yo!

Hey people, I don't have much to say except that I'm still writing and not stopping! I've been reading aswell, and am being very content.
Last night, at AWANA, I had to call my mom because I wasn't feeling well. I had butterflies in my stomach, and I had diareah--or however you spell that word. I wasn't happy, and I could hardly keep myself from crying. I guess I had a bad case of Homesickness.
On the 25 of this month is my birthday!

Joyce Kelly

It is weird how God works. Well...I'm starting to see a pattern in my life, even though it's only happened twice.
The first time it happened, was when my mother woke me up, sat on the side of the bed and said, "Emily has been murdered." Forever after, it's reminded me of the song "Emily" by Michael W. Smith. It's a sad song. If you look up news in Edson, you'd probably find a lot of stories about her. Her favourite books in the library were stamped with stickers that say: "In Memorence of Emily Stauffor." Emily was the daughter of the Baptist Church pastor.
My mother woke me up to this too. Both of these incidents happened on Sunday mornings.
The next part of this weird pattern happened yesterday. Joyce Kelly, the woman who first taught me how to ride a horse properly, had a stroke while riding the mountains. she is a good Christain, and is very nice. It is shocking that I was just helping her herd cows into her trailer so she could take it to Drayton Valley to be sold. She had been to Edmonton the day before for tests (I guess she had a funny feeling inside). She fell off her horse when she had the stroke. A quader took her to the awaiting ambulance, and she was taken to the Hinton hospital. Pray for her, PLEASE!

Nothing Really Important to Do With The World

Well...I did a quiz for my parents and this is what happened:

Who Do You Want To Meet Other Than Jesus When We Get To Heaven?

My Father: My Family
My Mother: Eve (she has a bone to pick with her), her daddy, Mary, etc.
Me: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Gilbert Morris, Elijah, Michael W. Smith, etc. (I can't fathom how many people I want to meet)

What Do You Want To Do In Heaven When You Get There?

My Father: Fly (physically)
My Mother: Fly
Me: Read books from the immence library, travel through space, write books, sing along with great singers, act along with great actors, ride horses, talk to animals, travel.

Note: I've finished a book, one of the Helen Keene Western Adventure books, and I'm going to send it to Red Deer Publishers. Pray for publication!

I Can See The End Ticking Closer

New Zeland has been hit by a huge earthquake. Can't you see that the earth is dying? The earth is dying under the strain of sin! Like a timer telling how long the Earth has to live is really clear in my mind. The end will possibly be like the movie 2012. Earthquakes worse than the ones we've seen, Nuclear War, and worse. Iran is getting dangerously close to being ready to unleash the bombs on North America, Israel, and other places. You have to wonder if Israel and America will work together. But Russia or an unknown country will open up on Israel before we Christians will be Raptured. God will protect Israel. Isn't that cool? I'm excited! New Earth, here we come!

Iraq With Nuclear BOMBS???

That side of the world is insane! CNN proclaims that it might just be 2 months until Iraq has its Nuclear reactor up and running. Thanks to the Russians, we're in danger. I getting more and more contempt of the non-Christians of Russia. They fed the Nuclear Reactor, and this may bring the Rapture ever closer. I may be proud that one of my ancestors was there at the splitting of an atom, but I wish that it was one of the things that wasn't ever invented. But at least in Heaven, we WON'T need Nuclear power to do anything! 'Cause God will be the source of POWER in Heaven.
One book series (if you haven't read it yet) is the Left Behind series, and the Left Behind Kids series. It's written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. It'll answer all the questions about what life may be like during the Tribulation. I don't wanna be around when the pain of that time comes around, I want to be up with all the Raptured Christians. But I'm just warning you, for I listen to the news while a friend of mine (and one of my followers) watches the computer.

Taylor Jefferson and the Historians

I'm a very big fan of history, and I suddenly got an idea (I believe God gave it to me) that I should write a book with historical characters that were thrown into the future when Taylor finds this extra room that was above the two floor cafe of the Calgary Tower. It was a library with three bookshelves. She takes a drink from a fountain, and is suddenly overcome by a fit of dizziness. She stumbles around until she suddenly stumbles back into the centre suitcase. Several books fall off the bookcases. I plan to make it very hectic--making Taylor, her dad, and her friends scramble to keep them from going wild. Because when the books fell, they opened, unleashing good--and bad historical characters.

The List of Characters:

Taylor Jefferson
Mr. Tom Jefferson
Eric Banks
Bethany and Ashley Barnes
Abraham Lincoln
Jefferson Davis
Robert E. Lee
Ulysses S. Grant
Stonewall Jackson
King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
Robin Hood and his Merry Men
Wyatt Earp
Napoleon Bonapart
Morgan Le Fay
Ivan the Terrible
Al Capone
Count Vlad Tepes "Dracula"
and many more...

The End is Near

It is crazy when you hear that Turkey, Russia, etc have a grudge against Israel. And it's surprising to hear that Israel just found over a BILLION barrels of oil! And with all those earthquakes--first in Haiti, then in Chili, then in Turkey, and all those MUDSLIDES in CHINA...you know the earth is falling apart. I used to be scared about when this would happen, but since I read Randy Alcorn's Heaven, I haven't been scared at all. The book tells of the reward of Christains that accept Christ before the rapture. Life wouldn't be boring. We would be able to explore the Universe, our senses will be strengthened, and we'll be able to explore the whole earth without the danger of getting hurt! There's much more.
I quote what Anthony Hoekema said: "God will make the new earth His dwelling place....Heaven and Earth will then no longer be seperated as they are now, but they will be one. But to leave the new earth out of consideration when we think of the final state of believers is greatly to impoverish biblical teaching about the life to come."
I find it just amazing that life will be burden free once we start our grand adventure on the New Earth. I've always wanted to go on an adventure that would somehow help the destiny of Canada. Well it seems that kind of adventure will never come true to me, so I've given up hope for such a thing to happen to me as I bound to this sinfull world. But when we are remade, we'll be able explore space, see new animals created. John Piper said, "God promises that the glory of his people will demand a glorious creation to live in. So the fallen creation will obtain the very freedom from futility and evil and pain that the church is given. So when God makes all things new, He makes us new spiritually and morally, He makes us new physically, and then He makes the whole creation new so that our evironment fits our perfected spirits and bodies."
To think about being genetically engineered might scare some people, but think about this...God's genetic engineering will not change our appearence--it'll make us better!
So if people who read this post after the rapture, believe every word I've said.

Muslams in New York???

It sounds crazy, I know, but it's true! Muslams want to build a mosque where the Twin Towers once stood! It was them who distroyed the towers when I was five! 9/11, hello! I drives me crazy, those false god worshipers! I just wish that they would be wiped off the face of this earth! But there I go! I'm talking raceisim again! But I can be friends with anyone, though, but muslams? My mother wouldn't let me near one, anyway. But I had a family of east indians on my paper route once. I hear the little one of the house say, "The newspaper is here!" And I saw the little one look up at me through the door. I had a tube covering up to over my nose, and a touque covering down over my eyebrows. I guess I kinda looked like a woman from their land. The grandfather watched me walk down the sidewalk thinking I was dangerous or something. It creeped me out, and I shall never forget it!

The Appomattox Saga

The Appomattox is one of my favourite book series. It has 10 to 12 books, and its written by Gilbert Morris. Its based in the Civil War times. (I don't know why the Civil War was called civil. It wasn't very civil, with all that blood and gore). The series is filled with love and Christianity. In one book, this guy named Paul Bristol said "I'm here to marry your daughter," to a guy he didn't even know. But he knew the guy's daughter very well. In another book, a man named Jake Hardin  pretended to be a man named Vincent Franklin, and fell in love with a 19 year old girl named Rachel Franklin. Lots of LOVE, lots of HUMOR, lots of CHRISTIANITY!!!

Nic-Nacks and Other Topics

Hello! August is here, and brobably most of you are smokin' in the heat. Edson has remain moderatly cool--under the temprature of 30 degrees Celcius-or however you spell that C word. I'll recomend two Sagas to you. It's the Reno Western Saga, and the Appomattox Saga, both by the American author, Gilbert Morris. They're totally awesome. I also have a few more books on the go (very naughty of me, I know), and their titles are: Helen Keene: Western Adventure, book 1, and: The Northstar Space Saga, book 1, and others I may tell you later about. Other books I had written had faulty plots, so I hope a little practice on this allegory of the story of King David when he was only a general (it has no title yet--I havent even typed it on the computer yet) will help me. I continue to thank you for following my blog!

Sunny Day--long and inscrushiating!

Knowing that my braces will be coming off in the limit of 3 months, the 2 hour trip to Edmonton was worth it.
Sitting in a van on our bumpy highways is NOT comfortable.

Rain and more!

I had to push enormous puddles of water off the tarp that stands for my mother's sun-shade. They were almost so heavy that the tarp would've burst. It was cool to watch the water fall off the edge like a waterfall.

It's so amasing how God created everything! It will be even better when we live on the New Earth. I wonder what animals God will make when we live there.

Update on my writing, I've sent my first book (called Beth's Rescue Mission) to Tyndale House Publishers, Inc in Carol Stream, IL.

I'm working hard for my next book to be sent away too.

I wonder how your lives are going. God will steer you though hard times.

God bless you!

Hey y'all!

I'm writing a cool book that will hopefully publish, I'm not good at writing books, but I'm willing to try!
It's warm here in Edson, and the horseflies were CRAZY where I had my horse-back riding lessons. The horse I rode was attacked repeativley by one fly when I was trying to get the bridle on, but by the grace of God, the sun was covered by clouds, and a cool breeze blew so the horse and I wouldn't get eaten alive!
It's so good to be a Christian! *Sigh*
The characters in the book I mentioned today are:

Sydney DeWhite
her father, Clyde DeWhite
Earnest LaHaye
Wyatt Cameron
his sister, Cindy Cameron
their father, Steve Cameron
Shea Leblanc
her father, Dr. Leblanc
and Fletcher Marx

The blog

The poll seems to be working everybody!
Sci-Fi is my favourite, but you can't seem to find many Christain ones. They do go to another world and I love things like that.
Keep asking me questions!

Comment Moderation

Finally it's working!
I got your messages, Mrs. Marlow, and I'm glad you like my ideas! I have one seven year old (my bro) who is getting to like horses and the old west. His name is Drew Alexander. I think my poll is working, so I'll try it out.

Let's talk about Narnia

You all like Narnia, right? Well, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie is coming out in December.
I can't wait-- and I bet you can't either, even though I'm talking to only two people at the moment. Boy this Blog seems lonely!
Well, anyway, what's your favourite Narnia book out of all seven? I place The Voyage of the Dawn Treader first, then the Silver Chair next.
I guess I like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader the most because I grew up in my short fourteen years on Vancouver Island. I like boat adventures too. But now that I live on the Canadian praries--"Cowboy Country" I like horses, and western adventure novels. Funny how people can change like that. But it happens in books too, you know.

Summer's Here!

Hey, I'm writing again! I've finished my first book, and I need to figure out which publisher to send it to. You can comment me on my email: mikeymeow@gmail.com because I can't get the comments to work on blogger. And whose a fan of Jerry B. Jenkins or Michael W. Smith?

Spring is in Edson!!!

Finally we have some warm weather!
I'm learning how to write a book with Daniel Schwabauer's ONE YEAR ADVENTURE NOVEL. It's going to take a long time--but that's no problem!
I hope everythings going good for you guys. Keep blogging, and keep writing!

Update!

Hey, people! A crazy guy with a gun was running around outside the hopital yesterday, but it seems he's been captured.
Edson doesn't seem to be taking Spring on too well, it's still cold! And the days are drearier than normal, too. It makes me think if the weather is preparing for the end times, but the Bible doesn't say that the world's going to end when the weather turns horrible!
But to change the subject...
My book series: World Light, is going to have a series, and the main character will be the main character of World Light's daughter. Like in Narnia, Narnia ended before our world did. So I'm thinking about having the world where all the adventures began would end when the main character of World Light's daughter is only 14. Then most of the people would have to be evacuated to earth (but that could be a problem). But I'm still thinking about it, so do go crazy on me!
Oh, and by the way, try posting a message on my blog, I would love to hear what you have to say!

Notice About My Blog

I've set up a poll for my decision on the series title because I need some help with it. I set up a word colum  that sort of describes that book series. I would apreciate a vote on it, but I'm not pushing anyone. I hope everyone's enjoying spring break (i don't know when it is in America), and everything.

God Bless!

Note to Readers

It seems that nothing is happening around Edson, Alberta. The pool was the same (even though there was a nasty lifeguard there), and everything else. But we can now tell that Winter is almost over. The forcast said there was a chance of a thunderstorm today. It hasn't happened yet, but we now know spring is almost over. Are you excited for spring?

Ragdolls

This cat breed is my favourite. I had one of these, but she had to be sent back to her breeder because she was sick. Her name was Pearl, and I miss her. But I know I'll probably get to see her in heaven, which makes me happy. I don't have a cat now, but I'll soon have one again.
Updates on books series, World Light!: I'm going to make a poll for it so I may figure out the title. Book one has still not been written (I'm waiting for the curriculem: One Year Adventure Novel), and not much proccess has been made on the second and the third one. I'm slowing down on that series because I need a grasp of the beginning of it all.
Other books: Nothing much has happened on those either.
Notice for weather in Edson, Alberta: I know I'm throwing things into this post, but there's not been much to talk about. It's windy, but sunny, and there is still snow!

I hope you'll have a good day, and God Bless!

Time is running out!

Watching 700 club is like watching CNN. There's friction between America and Israel (hmm... sound familier?). Prophecy is coming true! It makes me nervous--because I want to know more of the end times. I've only got the first book set of the Left Behind Kids series (1-to-6). I want to know more of what will happen after I'm in heaven. I read the Bible--but it doesn't give me the BIG picture (well it doesn't help that I havent read Revelation in a few months). But the BIG question is: Are YOU ready? Take mind of that sign in the end of the world movie: 2012, that the old man by the side of the road was holding. REPENT! THE END IS NEAR! Because it is. I never knew I would be living in the end times--but I guess God placed me in this time, not in the medeval times, or the Bible times, or the western age. He put me here for a big reason, or maybe just be a witness of the end times. But he also put the interest of being an author, and placed good ideas in my head--so maybe he wanted me to spread the word through my books. I'll work hard on them so I can do His work!

Me As An Author

I'm going to be an author, so writing is one of my favourite things to do. I like writing Fantasy (but always with God in it), Adventure (who could live without adventure?), Humor (you can't live without laughing), and probably some other topics. I don't know about Romance though. I like Romance, yes, I sigh at when a girl kisses a boy, or the other way around, but I don't know if I can write it. I plan to have the charaters in one of the series grow up, fall in love with each other, start dating (if their partents alow it), then kiss, then marry, with an awesome wedding cerimony! But I have to see if that comes true, because--I could be terifcally HORRIBLE at writing Romance!
But that doesn't have to weigh me down, right? I know God will help me through. He put me on this planet for some reason, and I think I know why.
So the series of books I'm working so hard to finish is called: World Light at the moment. But I'm having a hard time chosing the title. I guess I need your help! I have three titles that would fit this series: World Light, Worlds Light, or Worlds Alight. Whoever helps me with the title will be among the acknowlagements!
But don't hope for it to be coming in a few months. It'll probably take me 9 months to write it, then a long time for me to try to fix it so I can send it to a publisher, then it'll probably take a publisher over a year to publish it if they even except it!
If they don't except it I might accadentally complain on Facebook or on my Blog.

Have a great time!

Mikaela

Edson

Edson, Alberta, Canada is the most awesome place. It's surounded by farms, and it has a downtown! But no mall, sorry. There are at least eight churches here--which is great. I hope you visit here sometime!

Horses!

Horses are really cool, and are easy to ride after you get used to it. Some are really high-strung, so go for the gentle mannered ones until you're real set. Horses come in different colours, blue, pink, red, grey, black, brown etc. Horses can be your best friend, and to prove it, check out these books:

Dancer, by: Shelley Peterson
Abby Malone, by: Shelley Peterson
Stagestruck, by: Shelley Peterson
Sundancer, by: Shelley Peterson
Ariel's Journey, by: Doug Kane and Christy Wood

I hope you'll like this.
